Today is
Tsiknopemti (Thursday that smells burning food). It is called like this because
of the high intakes of grilled or fried meat
(a way of cooking that makes a strong smoke smell – smell of burning
food) in view of the upcoming fasting period before Easter.. It is a traditional celebration that held
each year as a part of the carnival events.
Since the
weather is springtime we decided to have a barbecue in our backyard!
