"Syntagma" Square

The sunny weather was ideal for a walk in the centre of Athens. Me, my daughter and a friend of hers (both of them 11 years old)  decided to go for a walk in Syntagma Square.
We saw the greek parliament and the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier which is guarded by evzones (members of the presidential guard in our traditional costume called foustanella).
Well....we all were ready for shopping due to sales period. So Ermou street was our next destination!!!
Panagia Kapnicarea is a byzantine church in the middle of Ermou Street shopping area.
